Australian Army Weapons Teams (far East)

Australian snipers often operated with minimal specialized equipment — some even lacked proper scopes. Despite this, many were highly skilled marksmen, often former hunters who transferred their tracking and shooting abilities to the battlefield. The 2-inch mortar, a holdover from earlier campaigns in North Africa, proved less effective in dense jungle terrain where tree canopies could cause premature detonation. Even so, its portability and quick response time made it useful for close support roles.

From 1944 onwards, Australian Jungle Divisions received a limited number of man-portable flamethrowers supplied by the United States. These weapons proved devastating when used to clear enemy bunkers and entrenched positions. This set includes three Warlord Resin Plus teams: a 2-man sniper team, a 2-man light mortar team, and a 2-man flamethrower team. You’ll also find three Bolt Action Order Dice included. All models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. A great addition for any Australian Bolt Action army engaged in the Pacific theatre.
