“Usuthu!” The feared Zulu war cry of “Kill!” echoes across the battlefield, shouted by fearless warriors driven by honour and ambition. This set represents the unmarried warriors of the Zulu impis, perfect for bringing the intensity of the Anglo-Zulu War to your Black Powder games.
According to Zulu tradition, these young warriors must “wash their spears” in the blood of their enemies before they are permitted to marry. This custom drives them to fight with extreme aggression and determination, seeking close combat engagements or harassing the enemy with thrown spears and early firearms from a distance.
On the tabletop, these troops provide speed and ferocity. Operating in loose order, they excel at rapid manoeuvre and sudden assaults. Their distinctive appearance, enhanced by traditional regalia, adds strong visual impact and narrative depth to your battles, reinforcing the immersive feel of colonial-era warfare.
