Norman Unarmoured Cavalry

These warriors would have supported Norman cavalry formations, adding additional weight and momentum to charges while providing greater mobility than fully armoured knights. Their lighter equipment makes them suitable for a wide range of historical roles across the medieval world.

The versatility of the set allows you to build several different types of cavalry. The miniatures can represent Norman riders, Breton cavalry, Spanish forces, Islamic or Andalusian light cavalry, as well as squires and mounted followers accompanying Crusader knights.

With numerous head, shield and weapon options, each rider can be customised to create a unique unit. Different shield shapes and weapon combinations provide the freedom to match your cavalry to a specific army, period or battlefield role.

• 12 mounted cavalry miniatures in hard plastic at 28mm scale.
• 6 sprues including 3 horse sprues and 3 rider sprues.
• 24 head and helmet options.
• 4 shield options: round, kite, long heater and adaga styles.
• 6 weapon choices including spears, swords, axes, maces, daggers and javelins.

Whether you are building a Norman host, creating a versatile medieval cavalry force or exploring multiple historical armies, this set offers detailed miniatures with extensive customisation possibilities for collectors and wargamers alike.
