Plasticard - Wood Planking

Measuring 200 x 300 mm, the sheet provides a generous area that can be used for larger sections or divided into smaller components. The plank pattern is already embossed into the material, creating a consistent wooden texture without the need to assemble individual strips one by one.

The 0.7 mm styrene is easy to cut and glue, making the sheet suitable for scratch-built structures as well as modifications and detailing work. It can be applied as a surface covering or incorporated directly into a larger construction, depending on the requirements of the project.

Once installed, the embossed grain and plank divisions provide plenty of definition for painting and weathering. Different finishes can be used to suggest painted boards, aged timber or more weathered wooden surfaces, while washes and drybrushing can help bring out the relief of the texture.
