Earth Textures - Colorless 30ml

The dense consistency can be worked directly with a brush, spatula or modelling tool. Apply a thin layer for a fine ground effect or build the material up to create rougher, uneven surfaces and additional relief. A small amount of water or acrylic thinner can be used when you need to adjust the consistency slightly.

The neutral base makes the paste particularly flexible when it comes to colouring. Before applying it, you can mix in powder pigments until the desired tone is evenly distributed throughout the material. Acrylic paint can also be added, although using too much may change the original properties of the paste.

For a different workflow, leave the texture completely uncoloured while shaping your terrain. Once it has dried, build up the final appearance using paint, washes, drybrushing, pigments or weathering techniques. This makes it easy to match the ground to the colours and atmosphere of a particular miniature or terrain project.

Drying time is approximately 5 to 30 minutes, depending on application thickness and ambient conditions. While fresh, the paste remains water-soluble, making it straightforward to clean brushes and tools after use.
