To use it, begin by preparing your material according to the manufacturer's instructions. Spread it evenly on your working surface, then smooth it out using a plain roller if needed. Depending on the clay or putty, lightly moisten the textured roller to prevent sticking. Roll it slowly while applying even pressure across the surface to achieve a uniform texture. Once done, remove any excess material after curing or baking as required by the product.

This roller works perfectly with polymer clays like Fimo and Super Sculpey, as well as epoxy putties like Milliput and Green Stuff. For base making, MDF boards are recommended—they can be baked together with polymer clay at 150°C for 15 minutes without issue. Green Stuff may require a bit of water, talcum powder, or modeling vaseline to reduce stickiness. Milliput can be mixed with children's modeling clay in a 50/50 ratio to improve flexibility. After use, clean the roller thoroughly with water and a soft brush to maintain the pattern quality. Not suitable for unsupervised use by children.
