Dataslate Grey 1 (12ML)

Tone Pro paints are formulated around intense colours and strong one-coat coverage, including for shades that can traditionally be more challenging to handle. Applied straight from the pot, Dataslate Grey 1 also benefits from self-levelling properties that help produce an even layer across the miniature.

This first shade can be used at several stages of the painting process. The Tone Pro formulation allows the same paint to be used for basecoating, shading, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing, depending on the technique and result you are looking to achieve.

As shade 1 in the Dataslate Grey family, this reference establishes the darkest value of the progression. It can then be combined with the four lighter shades to build a gradual sequence through the complete colour family, up to its lightest value.
