Magnus The Red 3 (12ML)

The Tone Pro range is built around intense colours with strong coverage, including shades that can traditionally be more difficult to apply. Magnus The Red 3 can be used straight from the pot, while its self-levelling properties help the paint settle evenly across the surface for a consistent finish.

Each Tone Pro colour is split into five graduated shades, from 1 as the darkest to 5 as the lightest. As the central stage, Shade 3 can act as the main colour of a scheme or as a transition between the surrounding tones. Move towards Shades 1 and 2 to establish deeper areas, or progress through Shades 4 and 5 when building brighter surfaces and highlights.

Its versatility also extends beyond a conventional base layer. Magnus The Red 3 can be used for shading, glazing, highlighting and drybrushing, allowing the same colour to serve different purposes depending on the technique. Adjusting the amount of paint and the way it is applied gives you control over the final effect.

As the centre of the Magnus The Red sequence, this shade provides a flexible foundation for developing the colour across your miniature. Used on its own or alongside the other four stages, it helps create controlled changes in brightness while preserving the vivid character of the Tone Pro formulation.
