Aeon - The Ring Ship

Officially designated Aeon and commonly known as The Ring Ship, this solitary Bioficer vessel has appeared with increasing frequency in recent months. Its defining ring is considerably larger than any known mobile Bioficer network. It can bring resources into existence from elsewhere and perform short-range jumps with nearby units.

The technology behind this system is markedly different from that used by the Shaltari, giving Aeon a unique place among Bioficer forces. Its forward armament is equally unusual: a battery of physical missiles carrying miniature Bioficer torpedoes. Their Genitor cores unleash horrors inside vessels they strike, turning these projectiles into an especially unconventional weapon.

Aeon also offers a glimpse into the autonomy of certain Bioficer intelligences, suggesting that they can develop machines according to their own particular preferences. With its enormous ring and unusual weapon systems, Aeon “The Ring Ship” brings an unmistakable presence to any Bioficer fleet or display collection.
