This kit is packed with the might of Mother Russia:
A 45-ton steel giant, the KV-1 was one of the first heavy tanks deployed by the Soviet Army in World War II. Its thick armor was nearly impervious to German anti-tank weapons in 1941, making it almost unstoppable on the battlefield. However, its limited mobility and inexperienced crews often left it vulnerable to superior German tactics.
The KV-1 could literally crush anything under its massive tracks, forcing enemy positions to be abandoned at the mere sight of it. Armed with a 76.2mm cannon, it could punch through any German armor of the time, solidifying its reputation as a battlefield terror. Though later overshadowed by newer designs, it set the standard for future Soviet heavy tanks.
Designed to support the KV-1, the KV-2 was a true behemoth, featuring a massive turret and towering at 4 meters (12 feet) tall! Armed with a 152mm howitzer, it specialized in taking out infantry, artillery, and fortified positions.
Despite being slow and cumbersome, the KV-2 could obliterate enemy defenses with just a few well-placed shots. With an operational range of 140 km (87 miles), this bunker-buster left enemy forces cowering, unsure whether they could withstand its relentless bombardment.
Deploy it on a flank to distract your opponent or spearhead an assault with tank riders—either way, your enemy will be quaking in their trenches!
Hold back and pound the enemy, reposition, and fire again—nothing will survive a few direct hits!
This vehicle can also be used in Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat. Its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
Models supplied unassembled and unpainted.
