Neodymium Magnets 5x2mm - 100 units (N52)

NdFeB neodymium magnets are the most powerful permanent magnets currently available. The material is manufactured by sintering and then cut to the dimensions requested by customers.

The designations N35 to N52 indicate the quality of the material used. The higher the grade (the number after the ‘N’), the more powerful the magnet. This measurement provides two pieces of information:

The amount of magnetic energy stored per unit volume in the magnet

The maximum temperature at which the magnet can be used.

Our magnets start with an N and their maximum operating temperature is 80°C (176°F). Grade N52 magnets offer the highest force of attraction currently available.

As far as strength is concerned, between two magnets of different sizes and magnetisations, it is generally the volume that determines the real power. So a larger magnet is generally more powerful, even with a slightly lower magnetisation.

Force of attraction: the values given are estimates based on tests carried out with our own magnets. These data are valid only for the central axis of a single magnet, assuming the absence of any other force.

For figurines, we recommend :

• 3 x 0.5 mm for small parts
• 3 x 1 mm for exchanging weapons, heads, arms, etc.
• 3 x 2 mm for plastic miniature bases
• 5 x 2 mm for metal miniature bases
