Neodymium Magnets 3x1mm - 100 units (N52)

Neodymium NdFeB magnets are the most powerful permanent magnets currently available. The material is produced by sintering and then cut to the dimensions requested by customers.

The designations N35 to N52 indicate the quality of the material used. The higher the grade (the number after the ‘N’), the more powerful the magnet. This measurement provides two pieces of information:

The amount of magnetic energy stored per unit volume in the magnet

The maximum temperature at which the magnet can be used.

Our magnets start with an N, and their maximum operating temperature is 80°C (176°F). Grade N52 magnets offer the highest force of attraction currently available.

When it comes to force, between two magnets of different sizes and magnetisations, volume generally has the greatest influence. A larger magnet is often more powerful, even if its magnetisation is weaker.

Force of attraction: the values given are estimates based on tests carried out with our own magnets. These data apply only to points along the central axis of a single magnet, in the absence of any other force.

For figurines, we recommend :

• 3 x 0.5 mm for small parts
• 3 x 1 mm for exchanging weapons, heads, arms, etc.
• 3 x 2 mm for plastic miniature bases
• 5 x 2 mm for metal miniature bases
