The Imperial Japanese Army calls upon nearly five and a half million men throughout the conflict. While many are conscripts, they are well-trained, highly motivated, and disciplined. Their aggressive tactics allow them to strike swiftly and relentlessly, and they display a fanatical will to keep fighting, even against an ultimately unbeatable adversary.

This box contains 30 infantry models, allowing you to create a wide variety of Japanese infantry units. Each sprue includes a wide range of weaponry, including Type 99 Arisaka rifles, Type 99 LMGs, Type 89 Grenade Dischargers (knee mortars), lunge mines, swords, and more. A Type 92 Machine Gun allows you to represent a Medium Machine Gun Team, with three 60mm bases included, plus plenty of extra pieces to further customize your troops. A variety of heads and gear let you represent Imperial Japanese Army soldiers, Special Naval Landing Forces, or Veteran Jungle Fighters, and take advantage of the Yamato Damashii special rule.

The following units from Armies of Imperial Japan: Third Edition can be assembled: Platoon Commander, Kempeitai Officer, Medic, IJA Infantry Squad, IJA Grenadier Squad, SNLF Squad, SNLF Grenadier Squad, Sennyuu Infiltration Team, IJA Engineer Squad, Medium Machine Gun Team, Suicide Anti-tank Team, Suicide Anti-infantry Team, Sniper Team, Lone Sniper, and Light Mortar Team. The kit can also be used to create a wide range of spotters and forward observers, offering virtually endless customization possibilities.
