The Neverborn are the native inhabitants of Malifaux. Some are the twisted descendants of the world’s original occupants, while others are nightmarish entities born from magic or strange evolution. Many see humanity as a scourge to be cleansed, while a rare few believe humans play a role in a larger, unknowable design. Their unstable and alien nature makes them unpredictable and dangerous opponents.

The Outcasts are those who have chosen to live beyond the authority of the Guild and any formal structure. Mercenaries, opportunists, and criminals, they survive by selling their services to the highest bidder or pursuing their own ambitions. Operating on the fringes of Malifaux society, they willingly take on the most dangerous jobs as long as the reward justifies the risk.
