Between the late fourteenth and early fifteenth centuries, Bohemian knights and men-at-arms fought during a period of major military change. The North Star - Bohemian Knights set brings these warriors of 1390-1440 to the tabletop in 28 mm scale, including fighters associated with the Hussite Wars in Bohemia.
The set contains a wide selection of components that can be used to assemble 18 different Bohemian knights, all armed with hand weapons. The variety of parts makes it possible to create a unit with a strong sense of individuality, or to build a collection of distinct warriors while maintaining a consistent historical appearance.
The designs are rooted in Central European warfare, but their equipment and appearance also make them suitable for armies representing Western or Eastern Europe. The components are compatible with other plastic sets from the North Star Hussite range, allowing parts to be combined across the range for even greater variety when building individual miniatures.
The box contains 2 large frames and 1 small command frame, together with round plastic bases. The miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Remove the individual components from their frames, assemble them using polystyrene cement, then attach the figures to the supplied bases.
