Ultramar Blue 2 (12ML)

Tone Pro is designed around intense colours with strong coverage in a single coat, even for colours that can traditionally require more attention during application. Ultramar Blue 2 can be used straight from the pot, with self-levelling properties that help produce a smooth and even finish.

The system divides every colour into five shades, with 1 being the darkest and 5 the lightest. Ultramar Blue 2 therefore forms the second stage of the sequence. Use it as a deeper overall blue, or bring it into a broader progression by moving from Shade 1 through 2 before continuing towards the brighter Shades 3, 4 and 5.

The same formulation can also be applied using several different painting techniques:

• Basecoating for an even foundation of colour
• Shading to reinforce recessed areas
• Glazing for gradual colour transitions
• Highlighting selected surfaces and raised details
• Drybrushing to bring out texture and relief

Ultramar Blue 2 provides a darker stage that connects the deepest Ultramar Blue with the brighter shades that follow. Used independently or alongside the complete five-shade sequence, it gives you another precise step for controlling the movement from shadowed blue to the lightest tone in the range.
