Six gels for a variety of slime effects

The Slime Effects range is characterised by its thick, stringy and elastic consistency. The gels can be stretched into strands connecting different parts of a miniature, creating raised details that cannot be achieved with paint alone. Add saliva between a creature’s fangs, mucus clinging to its claws, alien secretions or viscous blood on a weapon.

The six included products offer a range of creative options: Clear Snot Effect for transparent secretions, Fluor Alien Ooze for fluorescent alien fluids, Black Goo for dark substances, Violet Goo for purple secretions, Bile Sludge for bile-like effects and Blood Gloops for thick blood effects. Use each gel individually or combine different products to add variety to your miniatures and scenery.

How to use Slime Effects gels

Pick up a small amount of gel with a toothpick or modelling tool and place it on the first anchor point. Gently stretch the product towards a second surface to form a strand. Teeth, jaws, claws, tentacles, weapons and scenery details can all serve as attachment points. Adjust the amount of gel and the distance between the anchor points to create fine threads or thicker structures.

The gels can also be applied without stretching to form raised droplets, sticky deposits and small pools. Combine different thicknesses and colours to achieve a more organic finish on monsters, zombies, mutants and battle scenes.

Adjust the consistency to suit your project

For a more fluid texture, gradually add a small amount of Green Stuff World Slime Effects Thinner, sold separately. It helps you create fine layers and spread-out trails, and can also help restore a gel that has become too thick through evaporation. Undiluted gels are particularly suitable for strands and raised three-dimensional effects.

Close all containers carefully after use and work in a well-ventilated area. Read the instructions and safety warnings on the product labels before use.
