Compatible with all six products in the Slime Effects range, this thinner can be used with gels designed to recreate snot, drool, bodily secretions, viscous blood and other gruesome effects. It gives you greater control over the texture of your materials, helping you adapt them to the needs of your miniatures, dioramas and modelling projects.

Slime Effects gels naturally have a thick, stringy consistency that is ideal for creating strands, filaments and raised deposits. Adding a small amount of thinner makes them more fluid, allowing you to produce fine layers, wet-looking stains, puddles or trails of blood and slime. It can also help restore a gel that has thickened over time, making it easier to work with again.

How to use Slime Effects Thinner

Add a few drops of thinner to the gel and mix thoroughly. Work gradually, checking the consistency before adding more. To preserve the gel's ability to form strands and filaments, use only a small amount of thinner. For a more liquid effect, increase the quantity little by little until you achieve the desired texture.

You can also mix the thinner with your gel on a palette or in a separate container, allowing you to adjust only the amount needed for your project.

Restore a gel that has become too thick

If a Slime Effects product has lost its original fluidity, add a few drops of thinner and mix slowly. Repeat if necessary, avoiding the addition of too much thinner at once, as this may make the gel excessively runny.

Close the bottle carefully after each use to reduce evaporation. Keep it tightly sealed, work in a well-ventilated area, and read the instructions and safety warnings on the product label.
