Silver Series Pinceau Kolinsky - 1

They are recommended for traditional painting, particularly fine techniques such as watercolour or glazing. With acrylic paint, they are mainly used for washes, enamels, inks and gradients, generally diluted. They are not recommended for dry brush or point techniques, as this can damage the tips.

The natural bristles guarantee high absorption of water and paint, as well as excellent elasticity, making these brushes highly technical tools.

Because of their nature, brushes with natural bristles require more care than brushes with synthetic bristles, as deterioration leads to loss of shape. To prolong their life, refine the bristles after use with our Brush Repair Gel (LINK) and avoid letting paint residue dry between the bristles. After use, leave them to dry in an upright position to avoid deforming the tips.

It is also not recommended to use a Kolinsky brush for oil painting, as the products used for this paint deteriorate the bristles more quickly.
