This high-quality lacquer-based paint is formulated with an advanced chemical composition and delivers outstanding color accuracy, setting it apart from most other brands. It flows effortlessly through an airbrush, adheres well to surfaces, and dries to a smooth, soft finish. It also holds up excellently to all types of weathering products, making it an ideal base for advanced modeling techniques.
This particular shade was primarily used as a primer, offering reliable protection for a wide range of materials. Due to shortages in the supply of RAL 8017, it was also repurposed as a camouflage color by the German Army, particularly during the later stages of the war.
For best results, it can be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner, or other thinners formulated for use with lacquer-based paints.
