Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and withstands all types of weathering products.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Used to paint the upper surfaces, as well as the undersides of folding wing sections, on US Navy and USMC carrier-based aircraft finished in the blue-gray/light gray scheme from mid-October 1941 to January 1943. This scheme was also mandated for all US Navy land-based aircraft in February 1942.
