Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and holds up well to weathering products.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Introduced in the spring of 1941, this color was used to paint the upper surfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft operating in North Africa and the Mediterranean.

It was also applied to some aircraft on the Eastern Front that had originally been factory-painted in tropical colors.
