Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and withstands all types of weathering products.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

This standard camouflage color was used on operational Luftwaffe aircraft. It coated the upper surfaces of fighters from 1937 to late 1939, the upper surfaces of Bf 110 heavy fighters from 1938 to spring 1940, and the upper surfaces of bombers, attack aircraft, reconnaissance planes, and transport aircraft from around 1938 until late 1944.

It was also adopted as the standard color for Luftwaffe aircraft propeller blades, used from around 1939 until the end of World War II.
