Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and holds up well to weathering products.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Introduced in the summer of 1944 as the new standard upper surface color for Luftwaffe aircraft, this dark green shade was based on one of three officially approved formulas, selected according to the available component supply of a given paint manufacturer.

In the past, some researchers mistakenly identified this color as RLM 83.
