This high-quality lacquer-based paint features an advanced chemical formula and colour accuracy superior to many other paints available on the market. Developed for demanding scale modellers, it provides excellent coverage, consistent application, and faithful reproduction of historical colours.
The paint flows smoothly through an airbrush, ensuring an even spray pattern and precise control during application. It adheres strongly to the surface and dries quickly with a soft, smooth finish. Once cured, it forms a durable layer capable of withstanding all kinds of weathering techniques, including washes, filters, and pigments.
It can be thinned with RC701 / RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or with other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints. The colour accurately represents the overall finish used on Israeli Air Force (IAF) helicopters from the late 1970s to the early 1980s, applied to aircraft such as the AH-1, CH-53, MD 500, Bell 206, and Bell 212. It is also a good match for one of the colours used in disruptive camouflage schemes on US Army vehicles during World War II.
