The paint flows smoothly through an airbrush, providing an even spray pattern and precise control during application. It adheres firmly to the surface and dries quickly with a soft, smooth finish. Once cured, it forms a durable layer that holds firmly all kinds of weathering products, including washes, filters, and pigments commonly used in advanced finishing techniques.

It can be diluted with RC701 / RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or with other thinners intended for lacquer-based paints. The colour represents the standard finish used on IDF vehicles and military equipment during the 1950s and 1960s, including the Six Day War. It remained widely used until the Yom Kippur War in 1973, appearing on tanks such as the AMX-13, Shermans, early M48 Pattons, and the majority of Centurion (Sho’t) tanks. After the Yom Kippur War it continued to be used in some areas, particularly in the south and the Sinai Peninsula.
