Neodymium Magnets 2x1mm - 50 units (N52)

NdFeB neodymium magnets are the most powerful permanent magnets currently available. The material is produced by sintering and then cut to the dimensions required by customers.

The designations N35 to N52 indicate the quality of the material used. The higher the grade (the number after the ‘N’), the more powerful the magnet. This measurement provides two pieces of information:

The amount of magnetic energy stored per unit volume in the magnet.

The maximum temperature at which the magnet can be used.

Our magnets, designated with an N, have a maximum operating temperature of 80°C (176°F). N52 magnets represent the highest grade currently available.

In terms of strength, for two magnets of different magnetization, it is often the volume that determines the real power. So a larger magnet is generally stronger, even with a lower magnetisation grade.

Force of attraction: the values given are estimates based on tests on our own magnets. These measurements apply only to a point along the central axis of a single magnet, with no external influence.

For figurines, we recommend :

• 3 x 0.5 mm for small parts
• 3 x 1 mm for exchanging weapons, heads, arms, etc.
• 3 x 2 mm for plastic miniature bases
• 5 x 2 mm for metal miniature bases
