Before use, properly knead and condition your chosen material, then spread it evenly over your working surface. For best results, start with a smooth roller to level the surface. Slowly roll this textured tool over the clay with even pressure to achieve a consistent pattern. Depending on the material used—such as sticky epoxy putties—you may need to lightly moisten the roller or dust it with talcum powder or modeling vaseline to prevent sticking. Once hardened or baked, excess material can be removed cleanly.

Compatible with most polymer clays (such as Fimo or Super Sculpey) and epoxy putties like Milliput and Green Stuff, this roller can also be used directly on MDF bases before oven curing. Milliput may be mixed 50/50 with children's modeling clay for improved handling. After use, clean thoroughly with water and a soft brush to preserve the sharpness of the design. This is a precision modeling tool and should be used under adult supervision. An essential accessory for achieving clean, technical, and repeatable textures.
