To use it, start by conditioning your chosen material as per the manufacturer's instructions. Spread the clay evenly, then smooth it using a plain roller if needed. Slowly roll this textured tool over the surface with steady pressure to achieve a consistent impression. Depending on the material—such as epoxy or polymer—it might help to slightly moisten the roller or apply talcum powder or modeling vaseline to prevent sticking. Once the texture is applied, allow the material to harden or bake as required.

This roller is compatible with popular polymer clays like Fimo and Super Sculpey, as well as epoxy putties like Green Stuff and Milliput. For MDF bases, you can apply and bake directly at 150°C for 15 minutes without damaging the wood. Mixing Milliput with children’s modeling clay (50/50) can enhance flexibility. After use, clean the roller thoroughly with water and a soft brush to maintain the fine details. Not intended for unsupervised use by minors. A must-have tool for achieving natural-looking stone textures in your dioramas or terrain builds.
