This 32 cm textured roller is designed to reproduce irregular stone surfaces with a highly realistic and detailed finish. Featuring variable stone sizes around 5x10 mm, it’s perfect for simulating old walls, stone paths, or rustic architecture across multiple scales (1/22 to 1/48). Made from transparent PMMA plastic, the roller is durable, non-toxic, and non-stick, making it ideal for all types of clays, putties, or modeling compounds.
To use, knead your material thoroughly, spread it evenly on a flat surface, and slowly roll over it with consistent pressure. Depending on the type of putty or clay, lightly moistening the roller may help prevent sticking—especially with tacky resins like Green Stuff. The roller works seamlessly with polymer clays (Super Sculpey, Fimo), epoxy putties (Milliput, Green Stuff), and MDF bases. When working with polymer clay, the entire base can be baked at 150°C for 15 minutes. Some users may also mix putty with modeling clay to improve workability and reduce stickiness.
After each session, clean the roller with water and a suitable brush or scraper to maintain the crispness of the pattern. Whether you're crafting bases, terrain, or miniature structures, this tool offers a reliable, easy-to-use solution for professional-grade results. Not intended for unsupervised use by children.
