Bloodtoof Red 4 moves the five-shade Tone Pro progression towards its lightest values. Each colour in the range is numbered from 1 to 5, starting with the darkest shade and progressing towards the lightest. As the fourth reference, this shade sits immediately before the final step of the sequence.

Its formulation combines intense colours with strong one-coat coverage, including for shades that can traditionally be more demanding to work with. Bloodtoof Red 4 can be applied straight from the pot, while its self-levelling properties help produce an even layer across the miniature.

The same reference can be used for more than just basecoating. It is suitable for basecoating, shading, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing, allowing Bloodtoof Red 4 to be incorporated into different stages of the painting process.

Combined with shades 1 through 3, it continues the progression towards the lighter values, while shade 5 completes the sequence. Bloodtoof Red 4 therefore represents the penultimate value in this Tone Pro colour family.
