Chotec Orange 3 sits at the third level of the five-shade Chotec Orange progression. In the Tone Pro system, each colour runs from shade 1 as the darkest value through to shade 5 as the lightest. This reference therefore occupies the midpoint of the sequence.

The Tone Pro formulation delivers intense colours with strong one-coat coverage, including for colours that can be more demanding to work with. Chotec Orange 3 can be applied straight from the pot, while its self-levelling properties help produce an even layer across the miniature.

The new formulation also makes it possible to use the same paint for several techniques. This shade can be applied for basecoating, shading, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing, allowing it to take on different roles throughout the painting process or to be combined with the other values in the family.

As the central shade, Chotec Orange 3 links the first two values with shades 4 and 5. Together, the five references provide the complete Chotec Orange progression, from the darkest to the lightest value.
