Magnus The Red 2 (12ML)

Tone Pro colours are known for their strong intensity and high coverage. The formulation is designed to provide substantial coverage from a single coat, including with colours that can otherwise be more demanding to work with. Applied directly from the pot, Magnus The Red 2 spreads evenly across the model, while its self-levelling properties help maintain a consistent finish.

Each colour is organised into five shades, with 1 as the darkest and 5 as the lightest. Magnus The Red 2 therefore sits at the second level of the sequence, between the deepest shade and the brighter stages. Pair it with Shade 1 to develop darker areas, then move through Shades 3, 4 and 5 to build progressively stronger highlights, or use it independently when its particular tone suits the scheme.

The Tone Pro formulation is also intended to be versatile across different painting techniques. Magnus The Red 2 can be used for basecoating, shading, glazing, highlighting and drybrushing. The way the paint is applied and the amount used can therefore change its role throughout the painting process.

As an early stage in the Magnus The Red sequence, this shade provides a useful bridge between the darkest tone and the brighter colours. It can establish a deeper main colour, support gradual transitions, or form part of a complete five-step progression across the miniature.
