Seraphon Blue 2 (12ML)

Tone Pro paints are designed to deliver strong coverage in a single coat, including on colours that can normally require more careful application. Seraphon Blue 2 can be used straight from the pot, with its self-levelling properties helping to produce an even finish across the miniature.

Each Tone Pro colour is divided into five easy-to-use shades, numbered from 1 to 5, with 1 being the darkest and 5 the lightest. As the second-darkest value, Seraphon Blue 2 can work alongside Shade 1 to establish greater depth, then lead into the lighter stages of the same colour family for a gradual build-up.

The paint is not restricted to a single stage of the painting process either. The same shade can be put to work with several techniques:

• Basecoating for establishing a solid, even colour
• Shading to strengthen recessed and darker areas
• Glazing for softer colour transitions
• Highlighting to bring selected forms forward
• Drybrushing to pick out raised textures and surface detail

Seraphon Blue 2 can therefore be used as part of the complete five-shade progression or independently when its darker value is the right match for the miniature. It combines the intense colour and reliable coverage of Tone Pro with the flexibility to move between different painting techniques.
