Advantages of Ultraviolet Resin

• Ultra-fast drying : Use a UV lamp to dry in 2 to 4 minutes, or leave to dry in sunlight in 5 to 10 minutes (up to 40 minutes on cloudy days).
• Easy tinting : The resin can be tinted with a few drops of our Intensity or DYE inks, allowing you to create different water effects, such as swamps or radioactive lakes. Important: to tint with CANDY inks, apply them after the resin has completely hardened.
• No shrinkage : Unlike other materials, UV resin does not shrink during drying. The quantity applied remains unchanged.
• Multi-layer application : For submerged effects, you can superimpose several layers without visible marks.
• Easy handling : The cured resin can be cut, polished and shaped to suit your needs.
• Reduced odour and toxicity : Compared with traditional methods, it emits less odour and is safer to use.

How to use

• While the resin is still liquid, use a heat gun or lighter to eliminate air bubbles.
• The gel remains malleable as long as it is not exposed to UV or natural light.
• Do not allow natural light to penetrate the bottle, as this may crystallise the resin.

Warnings

• Environmental conditions can affect the properties of the resin. Use it in a dry, well-ventilated area, between 18°C and 25°C. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• If the resin does not harden properly (sticky or adherent surface), prolong UV exposure or apply a gloss varnish.
• Use the product within 10 months of purchase. After opening, shelf life may be reduced depending on exposure to UV light and low temperatures.
