Create realistic strands of saliva and mucus

Clear Snot can be stretched into translucent strands, making it suitable for depicting saliva between a creature’s teeth, mucus hanging from its claws or sticky secretions connecting different elements of a scene. By varying the thickness of the strands and the amount of gel used, you can achieve anything from subtle details to thick, repulsive accumulations. This versatility makes it a useful addition to miniature painting and diorama work, especially when creating organic and unsettling details.

Precise application and customisable effects

The gel can be used straight from the pot, and its original thick consistency helps you apply it with control without it easily running. To create strands, pick up a small amount with a toothpick, place it at the first anchor point and gently stretch it towards a second point. Teeth, claws and scenery details can all serve as anchor points. For a thinner consistency, gradually mix in Slime Effects Thinner, available separately. Once dry, Clear Snot can also be painted with other acrylic effects to change its colour and suit your project. Combining it with a blood effect, for example, can help create disturbing details for horror scenes, zombies and monstrous creatures.
