The Brine Shaman (English)

Its appearance is steeped in macabre detail. Bone-carved tokens and bone talismans used in its spells hang from its body alongside grisly trophies, while a crude headdress made from wet seaweed completes its unsettling silhouette.

The creature itself is every bit as disturbing. A gaping throat gives rise to writhing tentacles, while its right arm has swollen to grotesque proportions and is covered in barnacles. The sculpting brings together these aquatic and mutant features to create a character that looks as though it has crawled straight from the darkest waters.

Recently dredged from the depths of the Venetian canals, the Brine Shaman serves Mother Hydra and makes a striking addition to an Ugdru Rashaar collection. Its distinctive design gives painters plenty of unusual textures and organic details to explore, from barnacles and wet seaweed to bone ornaments and tentacles.
