Pillage Introductory Set (English)

The first clash pits 8 Viking warriors against 6 Irish warriors. The Vikings have the advantage in numbers, but their objective is to steal the livestock, forcing them into exposed positions. The Irish have fewer warriors, but benefit from additional ranged weapons and a powerful Danish axe. The scenarios have been designed around these differences, creating an accessible introduction to the way equipment, objectives and battlefield choices shape a game of Pillage.

Four brand-new frames also bring fresh scenery and accessories to the range. They include new buildings, wattle fences and a varied loot frame featuring a selection of existing items and animals from the wider Pillage accessories range.

The 50-page A4 starter booklet presents a streamlined version of the main rules, focusing on the fundamentals before introducing several straightforward scenarios. The box also includes a double-sided 60 x 60 cm paper gaming mat, tokens, an A4 poster and six six-sided dice.
