With its 6 mm diameter, this round Plasticard tube provides a ready-made hollow cylindrical profile for scale modelling and scratch-building projects. Its consistent tubular shape is particularly useful for creating pipes, conduits, mechanical structures and other details where a regular circular section is required.

Product Details

Made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), this Plasticard combines strength and durability with straightforward handling. The profile can be cut to the required length and combined with other Plasticard shapes to build customised structures. Cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended for bonding ABS, while white PVA glue can also be used, although it requires considerably more time to dry.

ABS also has thermoplastic properties, allowing its shape to be modified using different heat sources. This provides additional flexibility when a project requires curved or otherwise customised components.

The profile is well suited to scale modelling, dioramas, wargaming scenery and scratch-building. Its ready-made tubular section makes it possible to create consistent hollow cylindrical details without having to construct the shape from several separate pieces.
