Synthetic bristles, which are very similar to natural bristles, are best suited to less experienced painters or techniques requiring a less diluted medium, such as dry brushing. They are ideal for one-shot techniques and, in general, for any technique requiring the application of paint that is not very diluted, as synthetic bristles absorb less water. For techniques such as wash, enamel, ink or gradients, which require a more diluted medium, we recommend using our Kolinsky brushes.

Compared with natural-hair brushes, synthetic brushes require less maintenance to maintain the shape of the tips. We recommend reshaping the bristles at the tip after each use to prevent the paint from drying between the bristles. After use, leave them to rest with the tip up to avoid any deformation. Good maintenance will ensure the longevity of these brushes.
