Synthetic bristles are very similar to natural bristles, but are better suited to less experienced painters or techniques requiring a less diluted medium, such as dry brushing. They are ideal for one-coat techniques and, in general, for all techniques requiring paint that is not very diluted, as synthetic bristles absorb less water. For techniques such as washes, enamels, inks or gradients that require a more diluted medium, we recommend using our Kolinsky brushes.

Compared to natural bristle brushes, synthetic bristle brushes require less maintenance to maintain the shape of their tips. It is advisable to reshape the tips of the bristles after each use and avoid letting paint dry between the bristles. After use, leave them to dry in an upright position to avoid deforming the tips. Good care of these brushes will ensure their durability.
