Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and holds weathering products effectively.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

• Underside color of the early version of the "Temperate Sea" scheme, applied to Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm aircraft (excluding fighters) from 1939 to around September 1940.
• Equivalent to "Russian Grey", used as the general color for Soviet/Russian interceptors (MiG-25, MiG-31, and some MiG-23s) in the 1970s.
