This 14.5 cm textured roller is a precision tool designed for artists and modelers who want to apply intricate and elegant surface patterns. Featuring a complex Kashmiri-style design composed of detailed fractals and ornamental shapes, the roller is made from clear, non-stick, and non-toxic PMMA plastic. It is suitable for adding refined texture to a wide range of materials, including clays, modeling pastes, and epoxy putties.
To use, first knead your material until it reaches a workable consistency. Spread it evenly over a flat surface and smooth it with a plain roller. Then slowly apply the Kashmiri roller with even pressure to transfer the texture consistently. Depending on the material (such as Green Stuff or Milliput), lightly moistening the roller may help prevent sticking. It works especially well with polymer clays like Fimo or Super Sculpey and is also suitable for use on MDF bases, which can be baked at 150°C for 15 minutes along with the clay.
After use, clean the roller thoroughly with water and a suitable tool to preserve the clarity of the pattern. This roller is perfect for adding artistic complexity to miniature bases, jewelry, sculpted details, or decorative elements. It delivers a professional finish while remaining easy to handle. This tool should not be used by children without adult supervision.
