Before use, make sure to knead and smooth out your clay or putty thoroughly. A smooth roller can help level the surface beforehand. Depending on the material, lightly moistening the roller may prevent sticking. These rollers work particularly well with polymer clays like Fimo or Super Sculpey, which remain workable until baked at 150°C for 15 minutes, even when applied directly to MDF bases. For stickier epoxies like Green Stuff, we recommend adding water, talcum powder, or modeling vaseline. Milliput is also compatible and can be softened by mixing with children’s modeling clay in a 50/50 ratio for easier handling.

After sculpting, clean the roller thoroughly with water and a soft tool if residue remains. These rollers are precise modeling tools and should only be used by children under adult supervision.
