French Army Heavy Weapons platoon

At the heart of the set are two Heavy Weapons frames. Each one contains a venerable Hotchkiss M1914 medium machine gun, an 81mm Mle 27/31 medium mortar, and two lighter mortars: one 60mm Mle 1935 and one 50mm Mle 1937. The available components allow you to build up to six mortars, two machine guns, or a variety of combinations, together with a Platoon Commander.

Three crew frames add 12 infantry miniatures, with a selection of heads, arms and equipment. These models can be assembled as weapon crews or command squads, giving you further freedom when deciding how to build your platoon.

The box also provides four 60mm bases and three 25mm bases. Depending on your chosen configuration, these allow you to construct up to four heavy weapons teams, or three heavy weapons accompanied by a Platoon Commander and bodyguards.
