French Army 75mm Light Artillery brings the famous Canon de 75 modèle 1897, better known as the French 75, to your Bolt Action collection. A landmark in artillery design when introduced, this venerable gun was still serving as the backbone of French light field artillery units during the Second World War.
The French 75 combined a relatively old design with an ability to deliver rapid direct and indirect fire, making it a useful artillery piece despite its age. In Bolt Action, it can be fielded in an Artillery Platoon as a Light Howitzer. Its classification also means it can be towed by most vehicles.
The gun frame builds one French 75 and includes three different wheel variants, giving you alternative carriage options when assembling the model. A separate crew frame provides four early-war French infantry models, with assorted heads, arms and equipment for additional variety.
The crew frame also includes shells and cartridge cases that can be used to add detail around the artillery position. Three models are enough to form the gun crew, while the additional soldier can be used as a platoon commander, spotter or simply added to one of your infantry squads.
Miniatures sculpted by Wojtek Flis. Studio miniatures painted by Andres Amian.
Plastic models supplied unassembled and unpainted.
