With a 3 mm width and an exceptionally slim 0.25 mm thickness, this uPVC profile provides a precise way to create clean strips and surface details with minimal added relief. Its fine dimensions offer considerable freedom when detailing models, vehicles, scenery and scratch-built structures.

Product Details

Made from uPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride), this Plasticard combines the durability required for modelling with the ease of cutting and sanding needed for precise work. Its consistent dimensions make it useful for straight lines, borders and repeated details, while its minimal thickness allows it to sit neatly against a wide range of surfaces.

The material is suitable for fantasy and military modelling, slot car conversions, scale model construction and scratch-building. It can be painted with modelling paints and offers good resistance to degradation and wear, both indoors and outdoors. The uPVC material is also resistant to acetone.

For assembly, the profiles can be bonded using cyanoacrylate adhesives or specialist plastic glue such as Plastic Skull Glue. Each pack contains 10 profiles measuring 250 mm, providing a generous amount of material for repeated detailing work and larger construction projects.
