With its 3 × 3 mm square section, this solid Plasticard rod provides a straightforward and versatile material for building, reinforcing and detailing scale-modelling projects. Product Details

Made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), the profile combines strength and durability with easy handling. It can be cut to the required length and combined with other Plasticard sheets and profiles to create customised structures. ABS is also a thermoplastic material, meaning its shape can be modified using different heat sources when a project requires a particular adjustment.

This square profile is well suited to scratch-building, scenery, dioramas, scale models and wargaming terrain. Its solid cross-section provides more material than a hollow profile and can be used directly as a consistent structural element, particularly when building repeated details or assembling several components with clean geometric lines.

For bonding ABS, cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended. White PVA glue can also be used, although it requires considerably more time to dry. Each profile measures 250 mm in length, and the pack contains 10 pieces, providing plenty of material for construction and detailing projects.
