Ultramar Blue 5 (12ML)

Tone Pro paints are built around intense colours and strong one-coat coverage, including shades that can normally be more challenging to apply evenly. Ultramar Blue 5 can be used straight from the pot, while its self-levelling properties help produce a smooth, consistent finish across the painted surface.

The Tone Pro system divides each colour into five distinct shades, numbered from 1 as the darkest to 5 as the lightest. Ultramar Blue 5 therefore sits at the brightest end of the sequence. Combine it with Ultramar Blue 1 through 4 to create a controlled progression across the miniature, or use the shade independently wherever a lighter Ultramar Blue is needed.

Its versatility also extends beyond a single painting technique. The same paint can be worked as:

• Highlights to pick out raised areas and focal details
• Glazes for gradual colour transitions
• Shading to develop depth and variation
• Basecoats for a solid, even layer of colour
• Drybrushing to bring out sculpted textures and relief

At the lightest end of the Ultramar Blue sequence, Ultramar Blue 5 completes the five-step progression offered by Tone Pro. Used on its own or alongside the darker shades, it gives you a straightforward way to build controlled changes in brightness while keeping the same colour family throughout your miniature.
