Used for the undersides of RAF tactical aircraft from 1965 to the 1980s.

Also applied to the undersides of RAF bombers in the 1970s and 1980s.

Used on the undersides of RAF interceptors, including the Phantom and Tornado F.3, from the late 1970s until the 2000s for the Tornado and until the Phantom's retirement from service.

Adopted for the undersides of RAF Nimrod patrol aircraft (since the 1960s), Canberra PR.9 reconnaissance aircraft, as well as Victor and VC10 tankers, from the 1980s until their retirement.

Also used for the undersides of USMC AV-8A Harriers in the 1970s.
